Students enrolled in the NSISP receive mandatory medical coverage through Blue Cross Insurance. This mandatory insurance ensures all NSISP students throughout the province are receiving equal quality, coverage, and support if medical attention is required. Although some students may opt to buy insurance in their home country they are required to use Medavie Blue Cross, through the NSISP, once in Nova Scotia.
